Quick verdict: who should buy Centrix The Station KLCC?
My view. Centrix is a transit building first and a view building second, and both are real. The basement connects straight into Dang Wangi LRT, so you walk out of the lift and into the station; Bukit Nanas monorail is a short walk on top of that, KLCC is two stops away, and driving to the Twin Towers is about five minutes. Upper floors look out at what we call the four landmarks in this business: the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, Merdeka 118 and the TRX cluster, with the KL Forest Eco Park greenery on some stacks. The entry price is also noticeably below the luxury towers a few streets away, which is the main reason I show it. One thing to know before you go: this is the project's third time coming to market, having been shelved twice before. Ask the sales team directly about the construction schedule, and check it against what you see on site.
- Suits: professionals working in KLCC who want the shortest possible commute; buyers who want a liquid city-centre asset; foreign buyers, including MM2H holders, who want a central address that clears the state price threshold.
- Think twice if: you want freehold, or a low-density building with few units per floor.

Where is Centrix, and what is within walking distance?
On Jalan Ampang, at the intersection with Jalan Sultan Ismail, directly above Dang Wangi LRT station (KJ12). Bukit Nanas monorail station is a walk away, which gives you both rail lines from one address.
Within the immediate area: KL Forest Eco Park, Quill City Mall, Life Centre, the Saloma Link bridge, Avenue K, Suria KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Merdeka 118 and The Exchange TRX. Schools include St John International, Primrose Hill International and Eton International. Hospitals: KPJ Sentosa, Prince Court Medical Centre and HSC Medical Centre.
How does Centrix compare with its KLCC neighbours?
| Project | Tenure | From | Built-up | Units | Monthly fee | Completion |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Centrix The Station | Leasehold | RM 907,800 | 571 to 1,187 sq ft | 857 | RM 0.44 psf | 2028 |
| Branniganz | Leasehold | RM 803,500 | 344 to 678 sq ft | 759 | RM 1.21 psf | 2028 |
| Phoeniz Suites | Freehold | RM 1,016,400 | 484 to 678 sq ft | 394 | RM 1.21 psf | 2031 |
| Golden Crown | Leasehold | RM 1,280,000 | 624 to 1,238 sq ft | 490 | RM 0.80 psf | 2026 |
| CloutHaus | Freehold | RM 1,548,800 | 549 to 1,216 sq ft | 615 | RM 0.80 psf | 2029 |
| Orion Residence | Freehold | RM 1,580,000 | 491 to 1,329 sq ft | 298 | RM 1.32 psf | Completed |
Centrix has the lowest monthly fee of this group by a wide margin, and sits in the lower half on entry price while offering larger units than Branniganz or Phoeniz. What it gives up against CloutHaus and Orion is freehold tenure and building exclusivity: 857 units with up to 21 homes per floor is a busy tower.
Which Centrix layout is best?
| Type | Size | Configuration |
|---|---|---|
| Studio | 571 to 659 sq ft | Studio |
| 1 bedroom / 1 bedroom + study | 578 to 871 sq ft | 1 bedroom |
| Large studio | 752 to 855 sq ft | Studio |
| Dual key | 593 to 777 sq ft | Two lockable sides |
| Dual key (large) | 891 sq ft and above | Two lockable sides |
What I would pick. The layout I filmed is the dual key at just over 800 sq ft, and it is the one I would choose. It splits into two self-contained sides of roughly 400 sq ft each, each with its own entrance off a shared foyer, its own bathroom and its own kitchenette. Everything is included: wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, appliances and beds, on 2 ft by 4 ft floor tiles that make the rooms read larger. Live in one side and use the other as a home office, or keep one for family. If you only need one address, the 578 to 871 sq ft one-bedroom with study is the practical own-stay choice. Ask which stacks face the Twin Towers and which face the forest park before you pick a floor.
Facilities
The facilities sit on two podium levels, the 10th and the 45th. The pool deck has the Aqua Sonata lap pools (16 m by 4.5 m, 1.2 m deep) and a kids' pool (5.5 m by 4.5 m, 600 mm deep), with cabanas and a sun deck. The work and social block includes flexible meeting rooms, fully serviced workspaces, dedicated lounges, a games room, a reading room and a gourmet kitchen. Garden spaces run through the scheme: water cascades, misty alcoves, walking trails, a canopy walk, a mini lawn, swings and a play area. At the top: sky gymnasium, sky lounge, BBQ garden and viewing decks. Retail sits at the base alongside the grand lobby.
The sales team has also mentioned a managed-service option for owners. That is not in the written specification I have, so confirm it in writing before you count on it.
