Quick answer: ARRA Residences or Amara Residences?
Choose ARRA Residences if the LRT is the point: Ara Damansara station is less than 200 m away, prices start from RM 554,000 at about RM 769 per square foot, and the fee is RM 0.33 psf. Choose Amara Residences if you want a smaller building for a family: one tower of 412 homes about 60 m from Citta Mall, two car parks per unit, and completion expected in Q4 2028, about two years before ARRA.

What nearby homes sell and rent for
Both are in Selangor, where the reviews have asking rents only. Both reviews use AraTre' Residences, a finished serviced apartment about 0.3 to 0.4 km away.
- AraTre' Residences: RM 2,350 to 2,600 a month (mostly RM 2,400 to 2,500) for 740 to 850 sq ft, RM 3,300 for 1,010 sq ft and RM 3,200 to 3,500 for 1,173 to 1,195 sq ft.
- Cantara Residences (about 1.3 km from Amara): RM 2,350 to 2,700 (mostly RM 2,600) for 645 to 646 sq ft, RM 2,900 to 3,200 for 850 to 861 sq ft, RM 4,200 for 1,066 sq ft and RM 4,800 for 1,184 sq ft.
Asking rents are what owners are listing for, not signed leases, so treat them as a ceiling. The gap between the two buildings is wide, and ARRA is not expected until 2030, so today's rents are only a rough guide.
My view: who should pick which
These are two projects by the same group on the same road, and the choice comes down to what you walk to and how many people you share the building with. ARRA is the station project: less than 200 m to the LRT, a retail park in its base, 450 two-bedroom units to choose from and the lower price per square foot. Its trade-offs are scale, 1,275 homes at about 308 per acre with up to 20 on a floor, one car park for the two-bedroom, and a 2030 completion. Amara is the smaller family building: 412 homes at about 175 per acre, two car parks each, a grocer planned in the building and Citta Mall beside it, finishing about two years earlier. You pay more per square foot for it, there are 22 units on each floor, and the walk to the LRT is about 750 m.
Pick ARRA Residences if…
- you take the LRT every day and want the station less than 200 m away
- you want a two-bedroom as a first home, with a wide choice of floor and facing
- you want the lower price per square foot and the lower monthly fee
- one car park is enough, or you will confirm a second bay with a larger unit
- you can wait until 2030
Pick Amara Residences if…
- you need a three- or four-bedroom home with two car parks
- you want a single tower of 412 homes
- you want Citta Mall and a grocer at your doorstep
- you want completion expected in Q4 2028
